Note Rob Camele's pit table as he loads the big K motor prior to the flight of his St Michael.
Nothing but the motor components. No clutter.
Aerotech motors have a lot of components to load and Rob has them all laid out ready to install. Anyone new to high power rocketry would do well to pay attention to things like this.
Rob Camele readys the St Michael on the high power pads. The St Michael is a LOC Nike Zeus kit that Rob has renamed.
The St Michael has a camera installed (grey box, mid section) and Rob is still working out the bugs to get good video.
We are hoping to see some great shots from Rob in the near future.
The big fins on the St Michael mean stability.
Just check out the straight exhaust trail at right.
Rob watches as the St Michael drifts into the trees.
But because Rob also has onboard GPS trackers, he was easily able to find the St Michael. Requesting a little help from the ground crew, the Michael was easily recovered, undamaged.
In the end it turned out to be a good flight for Rob and his St Michael.
Thanks for all of your efforts Rob!
