The CMU students have a club rocket known as the Crayon that members fly with low power motors and afterward sign their names to.
Here the Crayon makes one of its flights off the low power pads on a C6 motor.
CMU student Kaylie Shelton shows off her Level 2 Certification rocket, Sardine.
Kaylie spent days hand painting her L2 rocket that flew on a J-350 to an estimated altitude of over 4,000 feet. Kaylie's flight may have set the current Mile High record for 2025 but has yet to be verified. This report will be updated as more info becomes available.
Her beautiful looking Sardine flew successfully and Kaylie passed her Level 2.
