TRIPOLI Pittsburgh legend Ken Good came out in July with his daughter and grandsons to fly thier rockets and his Excalibur.
According to Ken, "the Excalibur actually belongs to my grandson Rigel Myers who designed and helped build it." Ken was the flyer on record as Rigel might just be under 18.

The flight of the Excalibur was nominal until Ken noticed something was amiss.
"The main body of the rocket and nose seemed to have separated.", said Ken as it decended.

Ken's daughter Melanie helps Segin this time.
According to Ken, "Good flight but drogue parachute line broke (!) causing booster section to freefall. Intact but damaged. All other components recovered safely."
It was great to see Ken Good and his family out again at the July launch. And don't be surprised to see the Excalibur repaired and out for flight again.
