As usual, John Haught came out in May with a truckload of rockets and more than just the usual whoosh-pops.
John seen here with his Wild Thang Jr launching on one of his own "Shitfire" motors (launch below).
John's son Austin holding the Pain Killer prior to loading onto the pads.
The Pain Killer has seen many successful flights at the Dragon's Fire Field.
John's biggest flight of the day was the Thumper.
Taking off on a central L motor with a pair of air started I motors to boot.
Kevin Wuchevich announces: "There is the shit.... lets see if we get the fire" as the Thang came up to pressure.
Landing in the overgrown infield, the Thumper looks picturesque under its parachute.
John Haught's Thumper attained an altitude of 4439 feet which would have put him at the top of the list for the Mile High contest. If it weren't for Casey Andre.
